Your Annual Report

from Able Leader, December 2003

by Steve Kaye

Have you written an annual report for the past year?

Here is an outline to guide you in writing your report for this year. I urge you to prepare one because it helps set a course for the coming year.

Personal
Describe the highlights of your personal life. What special events occurred? What did you accomplish? What did you do to bring joy to your life?

Professional
What happened in your business (or your job)? What did you accomplish? What value did you add? How did you improve? What did you change?

Purchases
What did you buy? What did you sell?

Wisdom
What did you learn? What wisdom did you gain?

Your Plans for Next Year
What are your goals and expectations for next year? How do you plan to achieve them?

Key Point: Prepare an annual report. It makes a difference.

Much success,
