How to Use Flower Power

Everyone has access to Flower Power.

And it’s easy.

You gain this power by simply spending time with flowers.

You could, for example, sit with a house plant. Or you could visit a garden. Or you could go for a walk.

I know, that may seem too easy to be true.

Yet, there are significant benefits waiting for you.

I’ll share that during the past year I had major challenges. And flowers helped me.

Every day, I went outside and spent a few minutes standing near flowers. I looked at them with curiosity, admiring their colors, their complexity, and their shapes.

And I would talk to them.

For example, I might say, “Hello good flowers. How are you today? I hope you’re doing well.”

Then I’d tell them they were beautiful, helpful, and wonderful. And I’d thank them for being there.

Since we hear what we say, sending such kindness felt good.

It was as if someone showed that they cared by asking how I was doing. And then they helped by adding praise.

From these moments, I gained resilience, serenity, and strength.

And then there are other benefits.

Studies have shown that people heal faster, live longer, and think better when they spend time with flowers.

So here is an invitation to visit flowers. Breathe with them. Share life with them. Talk to them.

A world of beautiful color is waiting for you.

Enjoy.

Much success,

Steve Kaye
