Incredible Customer Service
Can Incredible Customer Service seem ordinary?
Perhaps when it’s like a Montezuma Quail.
Few people see this bird because it’s rare.
Yet, when it appears, it walks out as if it had always been there.
While staying at the Casa de San Pedro B&B, someone spotted a Montezuma Quail in the front yard. I hurried to the window and caught a glimpse. Then the bird flew away.
I told the owners that I wanted to take a photo of a Montezuma Quail.
Two days later Patrick knocked on my door. “It’s here.”
I grabbed my camera and followed.
I was using a Canon 7D Mark II with a 600 mm f/4 lens on a large tripod with a gimbal head. This system is big, awkward, and heavy.
We stopped at the front door.
“Open it slowly,” I said.
Patrick eased the door open and then dropped into a crouch, thereby holding the door open with his hip.
Now I could set the tripod and take photos over Patrick.
And so here we are with a very special photo.
In business we call this incredible customer service.
In life it’s knowing what to do. Spontaneously. Seamlessly. Gracefully.
