Welcome to the 2016 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

I attended the 2016 festival on Oct. 9.

At first, it seemed like a bad day for photos.

The sky was filled with dark clouds. And the sun appeared only briefly.

But actually, these conditions were fantastic because they led to dramatic sky scenes.
