Allen’s Hummingbird, Male

This Is a Hummingbird

After a blog post that showed a Gila Woodpecker on a hummingbird feeder, some of you may be wondering, “What is a hummingbird?”

So here is a photo of an Allen’s Hummingbird, Male.

This bird has appeared in this post to make an important request. [ By the way, other birds support this request. So it’s really important. ]

It is: Please keep cats indoors.

Olivia Felini, a recognized expert on cats, has written an article that explains how this benefits you and the cat.

See her article at: Keep Your Cat Safe

Olivia is a cat. So her article is based on an extensive, first-person (first-cat, actually) knowledge about what cats need.

It is also a bit unique.

And since this is her first article, she is quite proud of it.

Much Success,

Steve Kaye

When I think about how quickly hummingbirds flit and fly, this is an absolutely amazing capture, Steve. Kudos!
