Common Buckeye (Butterfly)

Nature contains a wealth of wisdom that could help everyone.

For example, if you were to ask them, here is wisdom that each of the following might share:

🦋 Butterflies –

Enjoy each of your four seasons.

Be one with the moment that you are in.

Be occasionally unpredictable.

🌲 Trees –

Stand tall.

Bend with the wind.

Reach for the sun.

🦜 Birds –

Sing even if nobody can hear you.

Fly through any weather.

Stay near what feeds you.

🌸 Flowers –

Push through the dirt to reach sunshine.

Send your roots toward water.

Bloom for the future.

🦆 Ducks –

Quack with conviction.

Stay with your flock.

Take turns being a leader.

🌥 Clouds –

Know that everything changes.

Move with the wind.

Plan to return.

☀️ Sun –

Shine even when there are clouds.

Warm everybody.

Show up every day.

🌬 Wind –

Change direction whenever you want.

Go around, over, and through obstacles.

Be powerful, even though silent.

🍂 Leaves –

Enjoy the season you have.

Gather as much sunshine as you can.

Celebrate that you are part of something larger.

❄️ Snow –

Be unique.

Move gracefully.

Know that: One can do little, and many can change a mountain.

🌊 Waves –

Rise with strength.

Fall with grace.

Know you are always water, regardless of your size.

🕰 Time –

Remember the past for lessons.

Consider the future for options.

Use the present for actions.

Question:

What wisdom have you gained by spending time in nature?

Much success,

Did You Know?

The most effective way to help birds is to buy land.

Here are three organizations that excel at doing this.

1) American Bird Conservancy

2) The Nature Conservancy

3) The Trust for Public Land

Please visit their web sites to learn about the work they do.

Here’s an excellent book: The American Bird Conservancy Guide to Bird Conservation

I loved this! thank you. There is an owl that calls every night just before dawn. I don’t know which kind of owl it is. I love it.

The wisdom I gained from nature:
    1. Nothing stands alone, we are all connected.
    2. Be still and listen.
    3. Nature knows what to do naturally and when the time is right to do it.
    4. There is a natural rhythm to all of life.
    5. What is mine to do to insure this is safe and is never lost?

    Great prospective Steve!!!

When stressed about someone or something, spend some time with nature and let it soak in.
